I cleared my CA Inter in May 1998 and then had appeared only twice in Nov 1998 and May 1999 for Final. I have not appeared in any exam after that due to my Job and the nature of work. I would like to know if I need some kind of registration to appear in the Final exam. I am interested in pursuing my Final for completion. Kindly let me know what is the process for this.

Sir, i congrats u to take the decision to complete CA. I think u know the registration is valid for 4 years after that we have to renewal(re-register) for another 4 years. So ur registered for CA Final in the year 1998 it is valid upto 2002 thus ur required to renwal(re-registration) of ur CA Final registration. However ur registration is expired before 9 years so it is better to contact ICAI with ur querry they should be suggest in this regard. Contact the ICAI by giving your registration number and you will get the feed back. Since more than 12-13 years have lapsed and the course has also changed so you have to take permission from ICAI for registration.
