If c&F agent issue invoice showing the expeses incurred towards the consingment and seprate showing his commission the what is the amt to charge the service total invoice amt or only commission amt.

Under the service tax determination of value rules the expenses would also be liable under rule 5(1) unless it can be excluded under rules 5(2) as a pure agent- many conditions are tobe specified.

sir, can goods transporter,in any way,be responsible to deposite Service-tax to govt in case he provide goods transport service to a factory/company only. is it optional to pay by factory/company or is it manadatory to follow and company can't pay to transporter and ask them to deposit the tax to govt.
