Please specify the books which are best in the market for easy, better and logical understanding in Income Tax Act for the below chapters.
(1) Assessment Procedures (i.e Sec. 139 to 156)
(2) Appeals and Revisions
As per income tax act.
I am a beginner in this subject. Please provide me which is the best book available for it.

11 August 2010 Best books available for the above is book by Manoharan for Final CA. It has expalined these things is a lucid manner and also not flooded it with case laws like Sighania and hence is very usefule for beginners.
