UP TO HOW MUCH AMOUNT OF BAD DEBTS & CREDITORS CAN BE WRITE OFF?

12 January 2012 when the amount becomes not recoverable on the basis of aging schedule than bad debts can be written off.

Provided that reasonable effort should be made for recovery of the amount and you are able to justify that amount is prima facie not recoverable.
