http://www.etaxindia.org/2009/04/banking-cash-transaction-tax-abolished.html the above tax was previously levied but from 1.4.2009 it was abolished. The above link gives u the details.
If u want to know when it is charged..., BCTT is the tax collected by the Banker when u withdraw the amount from the bank It is 0.1% on the amount.
