One of our client who is a manufacturing one...says that he is not claiming Cenvat Credit on inputs because he has to keep all the records in tact. 1. Please tell me what are the records to be kept for claiming Cenvat Credit on input? 2.How to convince him that it is always better to claim Cenvat Credit on input? With regards, Rajesh

although there is no specified record to be maintained now, but for the sake of convenience the old terminology is still being used to identify the record.
