CA's in practice cannot give advertisements. That's known... Then how do they increase their scope for audit of firms? I know personal connections help, but then any other way? Please suggest......

you can take help of ICAI manuals, write up and invite work from members in practise. Also, you should respond to empanelment done by banks, organisations etc. Apart networking is the best way to get audit.
