Please let me know what is the eligibility or limit beyond which accounts need to be audited by a C.A.for income tax as well as for sales tax?

08 June 2011 For Tax audit it is gross receipt or turnover of Rs 60 lakhs for business and Rs 15 lakhs for profession.

As regards VAT audit the turnover limit varies from state to state. You may raise this query again after mentioning the name of state.
