08 October 2013 i am writing ipcc exam in nov 2013...this is my second attempt...i am scared about the exams...is it true that number of attempts are given importance for articleship and job.....plz suggest...

08 October 2013 Yes, its true your every term counts..
But it doesn't mean you will not get jobs,

General FINAL in single attempt is more important then IPCC in single or in multiple...

However, focus on studies...

08 October 2013 Some of the CA Firms considering the number of attempts to giving articleship in their firm, especially big firm considering this, But actually as per the norms number of attempts is not important for giving articleship.

As well as for job purpose also number of attempts is not important but early attempt completed students gets job early than later completed one.

I saw both the case who completed his final at the first attempt and in the minimum age but didn't get job till now since last one year as well as you completed his final after 5 years is get job immediately and he promoted to higher level in the same company after completion of his CA.

So in word i saying even though you completed in first attempt and get job immediately but securing the job or articleship shall be depending on your practical knowledge and experience only not based on the getting of ranks or completion attempt etc...(especially for CA).

Because of i know one of the student who get top rank in his CA final first attempt(note: he didn't have any practical knowledge means atleast not gone for articleship training for a single day) and immediately many companies offered him job but on the 35 day after joining into job the company dismissed him by payment of his salary for the days working and said you are not eligible for job you didn't have any knowledge and not useful to the company.

Many of the qualified CAs now dowing their articleship(means doing their job at CAs office) to get such type of practical knowledge because of any where they go for job they asking practical knowledge experience.

So in one word i can say your life shall be depending on the knowledge of you but not on the number of attempts. So please don't be waste your time and corrupt your mind by thinking this ways and be concentrate on your studies.

My serious suggestion is Articleship training and learning work and knowledge during the training is most most important and useful to the CA student.

So please concentrate on studies first.

09 October 2013 Dont get scared,,first try to qualify ipcc with good marks ,,,getting articleship is a matter to be bothered after ipcc
