27 June 2010 If an asset is sold at Rs.50lakhs whose cost details r not available since entire recording details relating to fixed assets have been destroyed...Wat will be its treatment???

27 June 2010 You can trace out from previous year depreciation chart for addition of Fixed assets. which is found in balance sheet or income tax file.

But wait for other experts view.
