05 July 2014 i am pursuing article ship and going to complete 1 year.But my problem is a new article (girl) joined my office 7-8 months ago and she has been taught everything from filling retuns to replying to scn notices and most of the thing and haven't been told to me for a single time .is this normal because some of my friends says girls are given preference and boys are mostly taught things in there final year of article ship.because all i have been doing is going to clients site for vouching and internal audit though i have been taught how to make audit report.please clear my confusion and thanks in advance

05 July 2014 Though your boss is not delivering work to you... you can take work or can learn from that new girl na... apne ko too sikhne se matlab hona chahiye boss sikhane wala koi bhi ho junior ya senior

05 July 2014 thank you sir for your prompt reply.but my basic question is my boss is very gud and supportive .he solve all my queries fast and good but lately hes only teaching more to girl articles is it some sort of practice because i have still not completed one year so he might be thinking i would take transfer.

05 July 2014 If you ask me i will say Internal audit is the better work than any other work

(We dont know how you are approaching for Internal audit....But Internal audit have a great scope to learn alot)

Generally girls prefered to in office and take care of all tax work and works which can be managed in office
.
They may not interested in travelling
.
.
Moreover dont bother about Income tax returns and reply to notices are very routine job and it is very easy to learn
.
.
Even you can come to know how to go ahead in this regard by requesting that girl to teach the said work
.
She feel happy and proud to teach that work to you
.
.
But it is not possible to share internal audit experiance in a small period of time
.
.
So feel god about what u doing,definetely you can learn that work too
.

If you have interest ask your boss to teach you to do internal audit more qualitatively,analytically
.

Show your interest on learning things from work allotted to you
.
.
Over the time you will be recognized and the best work in office will be allotted to you.
