Articleship transfer problem

24 August 2011 I needed a transfer from my firm as they are not allowing me to attend me the CA Final Classes. It have been 6 months of my articleship training, and as per ICAI regulations I am free to take transfer in my first year of articleship. But the CA says that you will have to refund the money we have paid to you in excess of the ICAI stipend rules,Then we will sign the form 109. What should I do? Please suggest.....

25 August 2011 it is better to post ur quary to esahayta at ICAI website

because as per icai regulations you are eligible to take transfer and ca can't demand for refund the money he have paid to you in excess of the ICAI stipend rules

26 August 2011 Kindly go through the new rules for transfer of articleship. It is given below

ANNOUNCEMENT Transfer/Termination of Articleship[Regulation 56(1)] As informed earlier vide announcement dated 2nd July 2010, ICAI is allowing the articled assistants to seek transfer/termination of articleship only on permissible grounds and the articled assistants are advised to get the consent of the Institute before getting Form 109 signed by the Principal in their own interest.
