20 August 2010 pls tell me how will i get articleship among 4 big firms of india if i have passed ipcc 1st group only, is articleship in 4 big firms is possible if i have passed only one group of ipcc as i m going to give ipcc 1st group in nov 2010 i want to know wat shuld be done to get selected in any 4 big firms and i am sure that i will clear ths attempt pls tell me

20 August 2010 I dont think big 4 will accept your application as you have not passed ur IPCC completely and also as when u will start ur articleship u will have to take a leave in around 15 days. Big 4 have internal selection creteria under which i dont think u will fall.

However with the relaxation of trnasfer rules u can undergo articleship now with some other firm and then after passing IPCC apply for articleship in the big4's.

20 August 2010 which 15 days leave u r talking about? my articleship started from feb as around jan result announces?????

20 August 2010 Your articleship will start after passing group I of IPCC. But u will need leave to study for IPCC second group which could be after 15 dyas of joining a firm.

20 August 2010 sir, actually i am giving both groups ths nov but i m sure for 1st grp only could u able to tell me from when in big 4 articleship starts

20 August 2010 Big 4 have their selection procedure and it takes almost a month to take admission into the same.

If u are still to give the exam then concentrate on the exams for now as think about articleship in november.

Give both groups with full preparation and with full confidence and you will surely clear both the groups.

Study and study hard. Give it your 100%. U will pass.
