i have completed 4 months of articleship from feb,2012 to june 2012. then i took a termination. now i want to continue my articleship ffrom may,2013. will the earlier 4 months be considered? if yes. what is the procedure of registration?
09 May 2013
Yes, the previous completion of period of 4 months shall consider as completion of articleship period of 4 months.
The procedure to re-register(re-starting of) articleship is same as the first you done except the following.
1) Now you need not to pay any articleship fee
2) Mention the period of articleship is for the balance period only i.e for 32 months only in the form 103 now submitting i.e means registration to articleship for the balance service period
3) You have to fill the previously completed articleship details at the form 103 at the place provided for it.
Except the above changes all the process is same as like as first.

do i need the termination letter while getting registered. and what will be my CA final attempt?
09 May 2013
Yes, you required the termination letter received from the ICAI, because of it contains and evidence to how much period you completed your articleship previously and excess leaves if any and date of joining and date of termination etc...
Assuming if you not have any excess leaves and you registered for articleship In the month May 2013 then your final attempt eligibility is November 2015.

i have joined my office on 29-04-2013 but the franking was done on 8-5-2013.so the attempt is not may-15?
09 May 2013
Date of joining and date of franking will not decide the eligibility to final exams attempt.
Only period of completion of articleship only decide the eligibility of final exams attempt.
Thus those who completed 30 months of articleship training including excess leaves as on the first day of the month of exam attempt are eligible to such attempt.
Thus to get eligibility for May 2015 exams one has to complete their 30 months of articleship training period including excess leaves if any by 30-4-2015.
Thus previously completed 4 months of articleship period and re-joined into articleship on 29-4-2013 assuming you didn't have any excess leaves by 30-4-2015 you will complete only 28 months 2 days of articleship period( 4months previously + 24 months 2 days from 29-4-2013 to 30-4-15). So you are not eligible for May 2015 attempt.
