21 July 2012 I am a CA FINAL student and undergoing articleship training now.I have heard that articleship is a very crucial period and you must utilise it efficiently for your development.Those who are not undergoing articleship are not competent.I want to know what are the things we must learn during this period and how articleship can help us in the corporate world?

21 July 2012 What you have heard is absolutely true.

Articleship is the only period when you are getting time to learn. After this period expectations from you are going to increase.

It depends on you, which field you want to opt as your career i.e. Taxation, Audit, Accounts and Finance, etc.

So, select the firm accordingly.
