Article ship leaves

This query is : Resolved

29 August 2010 how many leaves can a article student take in the total period of 3 years? is it 183 days or 1/6 of period served which ever is less?

29 August 2010 Are u PCC or IPCC student?

Maximum leave allowable is 180 days for anyone.

Since IPCC articleship is of 3 years and leave allowed is 1/6 of working days it is 1/7 of total articleship period which comes to 156 days.

30 August 2010 Leaves Allowed In Articleship Training

1/6 of total articlship ...

Follow the Calculation Given as under

35 hrs per week * 156 week (3 years) = 5460 hrs in Total Articlship

Per day 6 hrs so 5460/6= 910 working days...

So leave = 1095 total days ( 3 years) -- 910 days working days = 185 leave days

30 August 2010 Sir it is 1/6 of articleship period served excluding leave days and leave taken period is not included in calculating the leave.

So in turn it becomes 1/7 of total articleship period actually served excluding leaves and hence it is 1095/7 = 156 leave days and not 185 as stated above.
