what is the procedure for appointment of auditor in case of a company where rotation is b not required? for how many years they can be appointed as an auditor? apart from ratification at AGM whether the company has to comply with any other provisions in the following years?

ACCORDING TO SECTION 139 OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2013, EVERY COMPANY AT THE FIRST AGM APPOINT THE AUDITOR WHO SHALL HOLD THE OFFICE FROM THE CONCLUSION OF THIS AGM AND TILL THE CONCLUSION OF 6TH AGM AND THEREAFTER REAPPOINTMENED TILL 6TH AGM. IT MEANS AUDITOR CAN BE APPOINTED FOR 5 YEARS. BEFORE APPONINTMENT AUDITOR HAS TO FILE THE WRITTEN CONSENT TO ACT AS THE AUDITOR OF THE COMPANY AND ALSO CERIFICATE THAT HE IS NOT DISQUALIFIED TO ACT AS THE AUDITOR. SUCH APPOINTMENT SHALL BE RATIFIED AT EVERY AGM AND RESOLUTION IS PASSED BY THE MEMBERS IN AGM AND THE COPY OF THE RESOLUTION SHALL BE SENT TO AUDITOR. AFTER APPOINTMENT , COMPANY NEEDS TO FILE FORM ADT 1 WITHIN 15 Days of appointment
