Sir, the company has appointed first auditor for which no ADT 1 has filed. in the first AGM held on 30/09/2016 the same auditor was reappointed. whether such appointment is valid for 5 years or four Years?

As per section 139(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 Appointment of First Auditor shall be by the Board within 30 days from the date of incorporation.
Appointment of subsequent auditor shall be by the members in general meeting. Such appointment shall be made for 5 year term subject to ratification at every AGM.
