Can any one kindly guide wheather service tax registration is mandatory for NGO ? Is there any monetary limit up to exemption not required ?

12 October 2012 NGO's are Not Exempted From Chargeability of Service Tax.

Limit is Same, 10 Lacs.
Register If Service Exceed 9 Lacs.
