Dear Expets,
Pls confirm if we paid advance against the contract or moblisation advance on which TDS is applicable.
Is there any Service Tax charged by the contractee or service provider.

service tax should be deducted if there is any advance received by cintractor service tax payments is the liability of service providers if he is an indina contractor and tds is to be deducted on advance payments to the contractor because you know the total work done by the contractor
