There is limit of rs 750/-for service tax to be charged on freight inward.

if bill amt. is more then Rs. 750/- then service tax payable on 25% of above freight value
26 March 2010
exact rate of service tax on freight inward 25%+10.30%=2.575%same will be apply of freight value
