Experts, If one has the bugeted P&L,BS and actual data, then how to do the budget analysis - pls donot say Budget data less acutals = fav/unfav. How to analyse the fav/unfav variance?

Just find the reason of variance, whether the amount was considered in budget or not. May be various reason to get the actual vaiance, controlable or uncontrolable.
