my client is an garments exports he has paid agency commssion RS.10 LAKHS without serivce tax for the period from 01/07/2009 to 31/03/2010 he has not applied for exemption .Now he is going to apply EXP1. WHAT IS SERVICE TAX LIABILITY FOR the above 10LKHS whether have paid or not

Please see not 17 & 18 of 2009 which may provide some relief depending on the %age of commission paid. If not applied that is only a procedural shortcoming.
