can we pay advance tax after due date.
and interest shall be levied on such amount

You can pay advance tax even after due date but interest is not required to be paid on them. But you may have to pay interest at the time of assessing your self assessment tax. Thats why it is advisable that if due date is gone dont pay now.. pay when next instalment is due...
