Its better to concentrate on your CA final time being, exactly one year there and you can try for AIR 1st..Later you can take CFA if yor going pure finance side or CS/CWA...
thanx 4 ur prompt reply....okay as u suggest i'll go through my CA xams first..but,
apart from CFA(US), CS & CWA, there are some post qualification courses being offered by our institute ICAI...such as course on valuation, IRM, etc...what is their credibility & recognition in world tday as compared to other professional courses offered by other professional bodies in the same field.??

May be it can add value but CFA usa is have world wide scope and good option with CA... If you are ready to give 3 more years then CFA, short term course means then you can go with mention courses by you...

@ Ravi sir, "Yes indeed CFA(US) is a tough course on finance and valuable too..but sir, my view is that for a person who can clear CA, it wont be much tougher to get through it...and actuary course came in my mind bcoz i have heard that they are one of the highest paids in the world and are very limited in numbers so there is a scope too in this field..."

@ Balu Sir, 'Sir, I think dat its the salary package that matters at the end...whatever be ur qualification and level of knowledge...everything is in vain if ur nt getting better paid for it...since CFA has a world wide scope, it has chances of providing gud employment opportunities across the nations...."
