12 April 2012 Actuarial science is most rewarded course and is recognised world over.A fresher can expect opening salary Rs 30 lacs and above in India. The companies hiring are insurance
companies,risk management companies.
Even one can start his own practice-where scope is tremendous.In Gujarat there is hardly one or two practising actuaries.
