I Cleared my CA in Jan 13. Following which I joined CA firm. After working there for 10 Months I decided to switch to Industry. I Joined an IT Company. Profile given to me was Associate Finance but basically I am a part of Accounts Payable team. Is it the right choice for a Chartered Accountant. Do I have any further option to switch in Industry with my experience and don't start up like a fresher?

To decide whether the profile suits you or not, you simply ask yourself a question- Whether your knowledge/experience is fully utilized or utilized to your satisfaction level. If the answer is YES, THE PROFILE SUITS YOU. OTHERWISE NOT.

I find it a monotonous job where i dont find anything new and even i feel i am not learning anything. In two months or so i have to leave this job for some personal reason. So now the question is when i search for a new job in some different profile will i be considered as a fresher. My experience of 1 1/2 years will not count at all?

But Change in profile will not effect my career? because this is actually the second time i will change my profile. I want to be a part of Industry only but surely not in Accounts Payable. Also please suggest a better profile that will help me to utilize the best of my knowledge and qualification.

if you are in starting stage then you can do this but after 5-6 year it is effect to your carrier , when you choose the final line for herself.
