Dear All, I got a query in excise.please tell me what type of accounts is to be open for excise,how credit taken and its links with the service tax.please expalain with entries

Open the Excise A/c and Service Tax under the head "Duties & Taxes" you will get net-off figure,means payable or refund at the end see whether this A/c shows debit or credit balance and treat accordingly
