or for Auditing.

what about AAS 31(Engagements to Compile Financial Statements ).

Because here the objective paragraph contains [para 3 -. The objective of a compilation engagement is for an accountant to use accounting expertise, as opposed to auditing expertise, to collect, classify and summarise financial information. ]

here there is no quidence regarding the auditing procedures to be performed rather about use of accountant procedures.

Is it for auditing or auditor.
Please explain

07 November 2008 But i have another view that they are for auditors(rather than for auditors for auditing)

Because while perfoming procedures under AAS 31 it not for auditor for auditing rather it is for auditor for any work(here accounting work)

Is my view correct ( AAS for auditors) whether it is for auditing or for other assignment
