24 September 2014 Its urgent.

my question is - In a Pvt. Ltd. Co. -
Mr. A holds 10 shares - singly
Mr. A holds 90 shares jointly with Mr. B (as Mr. A is first holder)
Both shareholdings have seperate folio.
Now the question is whether in this case, members will be treated as one or as two.

24 September 2014 There are 2 shareholders in your Company:

1. Mr. A holding 10 shares.

2. Mr. A and B holding 90 shares.

Joint shareholders are treated as 1 shareholder. Also refer the provisions of your articles.

Thanks
