hi i m doing PCC. Actually i just want to know that on wat points does a ca examiner gives us marks in theory papers like the subheadings, and the matter, etc And also how long the matter should be even if for eg. a question carrying 5 marks and the if the answer of that question contains half a page matter then does a ca examiner want more matter or it would be enough to get marks in that answer. And wat other points does they expext from a student in theory
First of all, don't do ornamentation in Your exam because 3 hours are neither more nor less for writing the paper. Unlike b.com exams examiner of CA exams reads every line. So instead of under lining and highlighting , focus on to the point answering and writing important point, giving examples, sections, diagrams.
Generally half a page is required to be answer if a question is of 5 marks but if answer is too long, use my trick. What i do that for big question carrying less marks I write important point and important matter and then leave space about half page and proceed for next question. In your question paper mark that question as "SITP” i.e. see is time permit. After completing entire paper if time extra remains fill the page left by you. This advice is for a question which carries less marks having a big answer.
However if a question carries more marks and you have small answer , do not elaborate your answer unnecessarily, in state of that if possible, give example diagram and focus on other question.
Examiner expect good logic and knowledge, they do not demand just word to word copy from institute material.
