since central Govt. has raised the deposit limit from 70 thousand to Rs. 1 lacs in PPF account can we claim deduction of Rs.1 lac if we deposit the same in PPF a/c

Yes, We can claim 1 lakh there is no limit under income tax act for ppf is concerned but maximum combined limit for 80c,80CCC and 80CCD is 100000.
