05 October 2009 Can someone give me a clear Idea on 80 GG..suppose if the assesse has house rental allowance can he claim 80 GG?

05 October 2009 No he can't, as the basic eligibility is the claimant is not in receipt of house rent allowance at any time during the year of claim.

If u receive HRA then claim under sec 10(13A)
