07 November 2014 Hi, I got an email from I-T department raising demand under section 1431a for outstanding for assesment year 2012-13. But i have paid all the taxes and filed the return for that assessment year as well. I do not know why I-T department has raised it.


07 November 2014 U must have to visit the IT department with an application in writing, and all the supporting documents which will show that u have paid all the taxes timely. Meet with the Assessing Officer of ur Ward/Circle and clarify the issues.

07 November 2014 first of all check the computation of income provided in the intimation. if there is an error, file the rectification request under section 154 online.
