I have received notice from IT Dept u/s 143 (1) for A.Y.2010-11BUT REFUND AMT REDUCED BY ARREARS OF DEMAND AGAINST ADJUSTED FOR A.Y.09-10 & 2000-01. BUT FULL AMT OF TAXES ARE PAID FOR A.Y.09-10& 2000-01

Write a rectification letter u/s 154 with evidence that there is no demand pending to your local income tax officer and coordinate with him.
