02 July 2010 some body tell me that if the cash in hand is get negetive then wt is the way to get it positive and tell me that why is it get negetive . could it be positive to enter some exp. in the accounts .

02 July 2010 Cash balance cannot be negative. Bank balance can be negative in case of cash credit utilisation. In such cases, it should be shown as secured loans.

No, cash balance can't be negative. If there is any position that shows company has also maintianed unaccounted cash.

If in Balance Sheet Cash & Bank Balance is the same group, then you can check whether bank balance is negative or positive. It can be negative in case of overdraft/ cc limit or cheques issued more than account balance from company end itself.
