23 December 2015 Dear Sir,

We have one registered firm (Named Nakshtra Computer & Associate) which have only one propritor (Named Varun Sharma) in Satna M.P. This firm take on Contract Lok Seva Kendra, Majhgawan/Civil line Satna.
Is PAN No. is necessary in the Name of firm which have only sole Partner/Propritor ? or other wise Propritor PAN work in place of that ?

23 December 2015 If you have registered Under Firm where 2 or more partners in a firm . Than you have to obtain Separate PAN IN THE FIRM NAME, If You are running in the Capacity of Proprietor Than your Individual PAN Holds Good , you need not apply separate PAN for Business under Proprietary Concern.
