22 March 2011 you are eligible for exemption for both Company Law as well as ELL.

22 March 2011 U vl get exemption when ur score in that subject is 60 marks.

22 March 2011 according to cs regulation if any student gets 120 marks or above(and minimum 40) in 2 subjects then exemption will be available in both subjects. so your Company Law and ELL will exempt.

22 March 2011 A candidate who obtains more than 60% of marks in any paper or papers and a minimum of 25% of marks in all the remaining papers of that group in which he has appeared shall be exempted from appearing in that paper in the subsequent examinations.

The candidate is required to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in the total of the remaining subjects of the group in the subsequent examinations.

Special Case:

Where a student who has appeared in all the papers of a group has failed in one paper but obtained a minimum of 60% of the total marks of the remaining subjects (not in each subject) shall be declared to have passed in that group if he secured 50% marks in that paper in which he failed in any subsequent examination.

22 March 2011 In that case Ravi ji's reply is correct.
Because the candidate has to score 50% marks in the failed paper in subsequent examination so he need not to appear in rest of the papers of the group.
Correct me if I am wrong

23 March 2011 Ok, i got it ravi ji is correct it seems.
