GST Portal Activates Form DRC-03A for Voluntary Payment Adjustments

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) portal has now activated Form DRC-03A, enabling taxpayers to adjust or set off voluntary payments against an order of demand. This new form, introduced under Notification 12/2024, is a significant addition to the GST compliance process.

Form DRC-03A serves as a follow-up to the original DRC-03 form, ensuring a more streamlined process for offsetting liabilities recorded in the Electronic Liability Ledger. Taxpayers who have previously used Form DRC-03 are required to file DRC-03A to finalize their payment adjustments.

To access Form DRC-03A, taxpayers can navigate to the GST portal by following these steps:

  • Go to User Services.
  • Select My Application.
  • Choose Form GST DRC-03A.

The activation of this form on the GST portal aims to enhance transparency and simplify the voluntary payment process for taxpayers, aligning with the government's efforts to improve GST compliance and administrative efficiency.
