here I m sharing very cool feature of excel
in most of cases we need prepare balance sheet , MIS, stock reports etc, from Tally by feeding figures mannualy for this quite time consuming as well as some time booring work
for link excel with tally you need to take follows steps
run Tally select company and period
go to excel in data tab >select get external connection>from other sourse>from micro soft query>select tally odbc9900*>ok>go to ledger press enter>select name, parent, opening bal, closing bal,next>next,next, then finish link that figurges in your bal sheet or MIS etc.
whenver you pass new entry in tally go excel sheet press right click then refresh
