Wait for 2 days after payment to get the challan updated in database.

I am still getting the same error after 5 business days of payment
Any open challan with such details is not available in the database for this assessment year.
Any idea what might be happening?

I am also getting the same error. Paid on 2nd Nov, and today it is 5h Nov. Sometimes the website shows no demand, and when I logout and login again, shows the demand. Frustrating to say the least.

Due to Diwali holidays the time gets extended to about 7 days ........

But if you check on https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/QueryTaxpayerAjax, and input the challan details, it shows correctly. So, the challan details are there in tax information network, but looks like the software is full of bugs!

Wait for two three working days, & then check the details in form 26AS.

Try this on monday then it will work. As system is taking longer time to update the challan details.

I made the payment on oct 26th still getting the same error.
As I made the payment while filing the tax should I agree with the demand and provide challan details or disagree and give Challan details?

I was also able to verify the challan detail on NSDL website .

The challan details (paid on 2nd Nov 2021) is reflecting in Form 26AS (5th Nov 2021). But, still not able to submit the response for the pending demand closure. The same error "any open challan not in database....", when clearly, it is there in 26AS!!. Tried to contact the helpdesk, their only response is - send an email with error details to efilingwebmanager @ incometax.gov.in. I have connected, but not sure if they will even respond. Looks like a software bug?
