My mom is a salaried person. Her TDS was deducted for FY 2011-12. However, while submitting her TDS, the employer quoted wrong PAN. The employer is not willing to re-submit the TDS under correct PAN while my mom had already received an intimation u/s 143(1) & a reminder after one month of intimation receipt for payment of tax. What to do?

It is the responsibility of the employer to correct the mistake what is he committed by mistake or willful. So instruct your employer to file revise return to make the correction, if you refusing then immediately write a letter to "The commissioner of Income tax-TDS" for your region(area) with the enclosing of copy of Form 16 issued by the employer with the facts of the case, means including employer's refuses to correct mistake,
Note: give instruction to the employer by writing and take the acknowledgment on the same copy and this copy also enclose along with the letter to the commissioner, as well as give some time to employer to rectify after submission of instruction letter say one month then approach Commissioner, In case the employer refuses to take instruction letter or acknowledgement then immediately file letter to commissioner as i said above.
