It is Compulsory to Put UTN for the F.Y.2008-09 if yes then if a person dont put That what will be penalties or Fine

25 May 2009 It is not compulsory to mention UTN on form 16/16A. You can issue that without this also for the f.y. 2008-09.

Yes, from 1st july it is mandatory to put UTN on all income tax Forms, wherever applicable.
