Type of itr forms for filing return for fy 2012-13

IAM A SALARIED EMPLOYEE IN PUBLIC SECTOR.IAM LIVING IN SELF OCCUPIED HOUSE.IN THAT CASE I HAVE SALARY INCOME & LOSS FROM HOUSE PROPERTY(INTEREST ON BORROWING).KINDLY GUIDE ME WHICH ITR FORM I NEED TO USE FOR FILING RETURN FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2012-2013

16 May 2013 ITR 1 if following conditions are satisfied:

Having house property income from 1 house only.
Exempted does not exceed Rs 5000.

If other conditions not satisfied in your case then you have to file ITR 2

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE SAME.IAM HAVING CNLY ONE SELF OCCUPIED HOUSE.I DONOT POSSESS ANY OTHER HOUSE.SIR I DONOT UNDERSTAND YOUR SECOND LINE EXEMPTED DOESNOT EXCEED RS 5000. PL CLARRIFY

16 May 2013 There are certain incomes which are exempt u/s 10 of the income tax act.
Like agricultral income, some interest incomes etc.
