Service Tax and Income Tax are completely 2 different kinds of taxes. Both are independent. So, TDS is to be deducted on the amount inclusive of Service Tax,VAT,etc.,

TDS ia always deducted on the amount billed which includes service tax as well. So TDS should be deducted on amount entire bill including service tax.

YES. TDS IS LIABLE TO BE DEDUCTED ON BILL VALUE AFTER ADDING SERVICE TAX. SUPPOSE THERE IS VAT ADDED TO BILL . THEN ADD VAT TO BILL AMOUNT AND ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT TDS NEEDS TO BE DEDUCTED. R.V.RAO

TDS is to be deducted on the basis of Payment or amount creditd whichever is earlier. And paid or credited amount will be inclusive of other taxes i.e. S.T., VAt etc.
