Pls let me know whether TDS is applicable for the grants provided by the state government in connection with excution of ppp contracts? and also let me know any judgements / clarifications in this regard.

01 February 2011 NO tds will be required on grants by Govt but TDS will be required out of payment to contractors by the payer.
