whether tds deducted or not on director's remunaration and if deducted then in which section whether in sec 192 or other section

You need to deduct the TDS on directors remuneration. This will under sec. 192 as like tds on salaries.

Court's had on several occasions examined whether there is an employer employee relation ship exists in the case of company and its directors when standard deduction under section 16(1) was in force and came to the conclusion that there exists. If u see the issue on that view, directors remuneration is liable for tax deduction u/s 192.
