04 January 2017 How can cliam TDS if Client follows cash method of accounting. Some income received in this f.y and some income not received but TDS was deducted?

04 January 2017 you will download 26AS of your Client then after according to 26AS you can claim TDS amount.

04 January 2017 how to book income in that case ? as per 26 as or as per books ?


04 January 2017 Yes you can claim TDS as per 26AS. If, any deductor deduct your TDS and this amount not show in your 26AS then demand Form 16 or 16A from Deductor.

04 January 2017 Follow the accounting method u r following. Better to follow mercantile method(as it is in practice).

05 January 2017 When you file your ITR there is a column when you import 26AS the year in which TDS is to be Claimed so by giving the year of your accounting you can claim tds in that year
