Is TDS deducted on the savings bank interest??

No TDS in not deducted on savings bank interest but if total interest in the year is more than Rs. 10000/- the more than 10000/- portion is taxable as income from other sources.

SB interest bank is not deducting TDS, SB interest to be declared in Income from other sources. Deduction is allowed upto Rs.10000/- u/s 8TTA.
