A private limited company shifted its registered office within local limits and filed Form 18. Does the consequent shifting of statutory registers to the new office need to be mentioned in the minutes? if Yes,how- by passing a resolution or simply noting the same?

you can mention this in the resolution that all statutory registered/books shall be maintained at new registered office (address of registered office) of company..

There is no need to pass a BR for the same. A noting in minutes book is sufficient.
